Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Pickriders Store ("we", "us" or "our") and the services we provide. Pickriders Store is where businesses get their own storefront link and sell to customers, with delivery powered by Pickriders. By creating an account, opening a store, placing an order, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

• Platform means the Pickriders Store website, storefronts, dashboards, and related services.
• Vendor means a business that sells through Pickriders Store.
• Customermeans a person who places an order through a vendor's storefront.
• Rider means a delivery partner who carries out deliveries.
• Order means a request placed by a customer through the Platform.

Pickriders Store is a platform where businesses get their own online storefront link, take payments, and manage payouts, with delivery powered by Pickriders riders. We provide the storefront, payment processing, and payout tools, and connect orders to riders for delivery. We are not the seller of the products listed by vendors and we do not prepare or produce them. The vendor is responsible for its products, and the rider carries out delivery.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pickriders Store. Vendors must provide accurate business information and may be asked to verify their identity or business. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, prices, and availability.
• You must only sell goods you are legally allowed to sell, and you must fulfil orders promptly and to a reasonable standard.
• You must not list illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited items.
• Pickriders Store charges fees and commissions on transactions, which are shown in your dashboard and may be updated with notice.
• Payouts are made to the bank account you provide, after deducting applicable fees, subject to successful delivery and our payout schedule.
• You are responsible for your own taxes and for any licences or permits your business needs.

• When you place an order and pay, you enter into a purchase with the vendor. Pickriders Store facilitates the order, payment, and delivery.
• You must provide accurate delivery details. Extra costs or failed deliveries caused by wrong details may not be refundable.
• Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira and reflect the amounts stated at checkout.
• Orders may be changed or cancelled only as allowed by the vendor and our policies.

Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Paystack. For some orders, including pre-orders, funds may be held and released to the vendor once the order is fulfilled. By paying, you authorise us and our payment partner to process the transaction. We do not store your full card details.

Delivery is carried out by riders dispatched through the Platform. Delivery times and fees are estimates and can vary with distance, demand, and conditions. Where several orders go to the same location, deliveries may be grouped into one trip. Risk in the goods passes on delivery to the address or person you specify.

Refunds and cancellations depend on the status of the order and the vendor's policy. Where an order cannot be fulfilled or a rider cannot be found, we will work to arrange a refund of the affected amount. Delivery fees already incurred may not always be refundable. If you have a problem with an order, contact support as soon as possible.

You agree not to misuse the Platform. In particular, you must not use it for fraud or illegal activity, list or buy prohibited items, interfere with the security or operation of the service, or infringe the rights of others. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms.

The Pickriders Store name, logo, software, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or reuse them without our permission. Vendors keep ownership of the content they upload but grant us a licence to display and use it to operate the service.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. As a marketplace, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of vendor products, which are the vendor's responsibility. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pickriders Store is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order in question. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.

You agree to cover us for reasonable losses and claims that arise from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform, to the extent allowed by law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, poses a risk, or where we are required to by law. You may stop using the service at any time. Some terms, such as those on payments owed, liability, and governing law, continue to apply after your account is closed.

The Platform relies on third-party services, including Paystack for payments and Meta (WhatsApp) for messaging. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will try to resolve any dispute with you amicably. If we cannot, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you continue to use the Platform after an update, you accept the updated Terms.
